familiar...

Everyday right now feels like you're on a hamster wheel of some kind. Maybe it's work, relationships, or managing how much month is at the end of your money…

Maybe it's all three…ugh…and your day goes something like this:

Alarm goes off, get your coffee, get in the shower…late. Where is my dang other shoe?

Then the commute to work (UGH! THIS EFFING TRAFFIC!), work….work….

"Um, yeah can you redo these TPS reports….for the 8th time? I really like this comma over here rather than over there… thanks…"…hate my boss…work…work…OH THANK GOODNESS PAYDAY!

….ugh bills….great - I have enough to cover everything with a smidge left over…

Go home, AH THE COMMUTE!!!….Eat something for dinner - doesn't really matter what, watch tv - doesn't really matter what - except don't watch that romance show - things never work like that (eye roll), and wonder why you're so tired…. go to bed….rinse ….repeat.

Maybe you're here because you worked your ass off last year, going above and beyond. Did ALLLLL the things they said would get you that raise and maybe even a promotion…and all they gave you was the same raise you got when you were 3 months in and didn't even know how to put in the effort…and it doesn't even match up with the rate of cost of living.

Maybe you've been dreaming of starting your own business, do something creative you can make money at or want to stretch your wings to a new company that would appreciate you and pay you extra ordinarily well for you contributions and efforts.

Maybe you've made a vision board with everything from the perfect job, partner, house, and travel and none of it looks like your life right now.

And you want all this but the hamster wheel just keeps spinning.

So I have one question for you…

Are you ready to get off your hamster wheel? I know I was - and I started asking myself…

Isn't it time to let go of the mediocrity that isn't cutting it anymore and start living the life I was meant to live?

But I am guessing, if you're read this far…

You have a dream.

Maybe it's leaving the corporate job to finally build the business that's been living in you for years. Maybe it's making your creative work your livelihood. Maybe it's stepping fully into a life that actually feels like yours... not the one you fell into, not the one that pays the bills, but the one that lights you up from the inside AND you can make a livelihood out of.

Pssst, yes, it's totally possible.

But right now you're reading this, probably on your phone, at the soul sucking, hamster wheel job that takes every ounce of energy you have. And by the time you get home that cup everyone talks about? The one that we're supposed to fill because you can't pour from an empty cup... that one... right now it's not just empty. It's rolled off the table and under the cabinet and the only thing filling it is dust bunnies.

Now, look…..If not, if you're totally cool with where you are right now - it's totally ok and in fact pretty awesome! Just go ahead and hit that snooze button for the 4th time. No one expects you to get into the shower on time anyway…. :)
